It’s the first official weekend of spring and to welcome the new season I want to show you my new favorite spritz variation.
I wanted to add some spice and freshness to a prosecco and decided to go for a combination of rosemary – my favorite herbs – and my current orange replacement – the grapefruit. After some experimenting it turned out to be the ultimate weekend elixir and just perfect for the first sunny days off.
Ingredients: pink grapefruit juice, prosecco, 1 lemon, small bunch of rosemary, sugar
How to mix it?
Mix 1/2 teaspoon of sugar with the grapefruit juice, and add the lemon – cut into thin slices – with the rosemary to it. Then leave it in the fridge for about half a day so that the rosemary has time to develop its aroma. Finally remove the old rosemary as well as the lemon and add the prosecco. Serve it with a fresh twig of rosemary for a little eye candy and enjoy it with your friends to celebrate spring’s arrival!
Hope you like my super easy grapefruit rosemary spritz and try one – or more 🙂 – yourself!
