It may sound strange to hear this from me because I’m not a fitness blogger and far from looking like one. I’m an ordinary collage girl, always struggling with my weight and there are no doubts that I’m rather on the “we love cookies” team than in the “salad forever” gang. But I love sports and go to the gym 2-3 times a week because I want to be prepared for the winter season that is coming up with lot’s of days on skies. Last winter I’ve trained for my heliskiing adventure in British Columbia and the effort definitely paid off so I don’t want this winter to be any different, which is why I asked my boyfriend for some help regarding food that supports me and my goals. As a chemist and fitness addict he knows a lot about a healthy diet and gave me helpful advice. One of which is the super yummy fitness breakfast smoothie which I’m now sharing with you using the Kenwood Smoothie2Go Sport – of which you can win one!
I like to drink this fitness breakfast shake when I don’t have time to put together a nice breakfast in the morning and sometimes even in the evening after work out (but then I miss out on the oat flakes). It’s fresh flavor and the mix of vanilla and orange juice is a real wake up call and the perfect way to start a new successful day.
Ingredients (for one portion):
200ml fresh orange juice
2 table spoons of vanilla flavored whey protein powder
put all ingredients in the blender and mix it on “high” till even the last oatmeal flake is gone and enjoy!
